Holidays boring? They’re not at the Ascham Holiday Academy!
Want to bake, dance, play tennis, run about or build something? It’s all on offer at our Holiday Academy which caters for children in years K—6 during each school holiday.
The Ascham Holiday Academy operates during the school holidays at Ascham School from 8.30am – 3.30pm. Programs are open to students from Kindergarten to Year 6, for both Ascham and non-Ascham families.
Each program is engaging, educational and entertaining with an opportunity to make great new friends and have a unique holiday experience.
The Winter AHA will run from 29 June – 17 July.
We’ll kick things off with A World of Animation with StarTime, bringing everyday objects to life as quirky characters. The fun continues with Around Australia Day, featuring a landmark scavenger hunt through the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest and Uluṟu, followed by an Artemis II Adventure Day and a Rainbow Unicorn Carnival. We’ll finish the first week with Creative Masterpieces Day, complete with DIY beeswax candles and colourful pasta necklaces.
The second and third weeks include a special visit from KindiFarm, bringing along baby goats, ducks, chickens and guinea pigs for hands-on farmyard fun. Students can also jump into plenty of movement and games during our Creative Sports Day and Tennis Camps. We’ll wrap up the holiday period with a Winter Wonderland STEAM Day making fluffy snow and slime, and an Emoji Quest Day, featuring life-sized games, emoji charades and plenty of fun.
